Remote magnetic turnover level meter is based on the magnetic turnover level meter with an additional remote accessory to achieve remote transmission function. For the most basic LB transmitter, you can choose 4~20mA signal output and HART output, if it is composed of a dual system with a magnetostrictive flowmeter, you can also choose two wire system or three wire system 4~20mA output, and there are also high temperature models to choose from.
In the application of industrial automation, the remote magnetic turnover level meter can be connected with the electric instrument and display instrument to achieve the purpose of display, control, regulation, alarm, etc., which is widely used in petroleum, chemical, pharmaceutical, food and other industries.
First, the basic type of magnetic turnover level meter
The basic type magnetic turnover level gauge is mainly used for field indication of liquid level. Generally speaking, it is mainly composed of a measuring main float tube, a magnetic flap indicator, a blowdown valve assembly and a process connection flange. The measuring main float tube is connected with the container through the process connection flange or other connecting elements to form a communication structure. The liquid level in the main float is the same height as that in the container. The maglev floating on the liquid surface of the float drives the magnetic flip plate indicator bundled outside the float tube to indicate the liquid level through the magnetic coupling effect.
Second, remote transmitter
Remote transmitter can realize the function of remote control, display and alarm. It is mainly composed of reed tube sensor, sensor protection outer tube, circuit conversion module and wiring aluminum shell and other parts, which reed tube sensor is composed of a group of reed elements and resistance chain, the distance between the two reed tubes can show the resolution of the liquid level meter, usually every 10mm (or 5mm) a group, the reed tube and resistance are welded equidistant on a narrow circuit board. The number of reed tubes and resistors is determined by the level measurement range; And outside the circuit board, set a stainless steel tube for protection; The reed tube sensor and the liquid level gauge of the magnetic flip plate are installed on one side of the float side in the magnetic coupling system of the magnetic float. When the magnetic float moves up and down with the liquid level, the reed tube corresponding to the height is drawn by the magnetic field, so that the resistance value of the resistance chain changes, and then the conversion circuit processes the final output of 4 ~ 20mA standard signal. The outer protective bushing is connected via an "L" adapter to the wiring aluminum housing, which provides a 1/2"NPT or M20×1.5 electrical interface for easy wiring to the outside. The aluminum shell can be rotated 180° flexibly. After the connection wire is connected, the aluminum shell should be rotated to make the waterproof connector face down to prevent the intrusion of rain, as shown in the figure below.
When the reed tube remote transmitter is used, it is usually tied tightly to the outer surface of the buoy. When the float in the float moves up and down with the change of the liquid level, the position of the magnetic steel in the float will change the state (closed) of the magnetic switch in the reed reed tube. Only the reed reed tube within the range of the magnetic steel is closed, and the rest are in an open state, thus changing the resistance value of the loop. With the change of the position of the float, the resistance value of the output circuit of the loop will also change. Then through the current conversion, it can be converted into 4 ~ 20mA signal output.
